Privacy policy
WidgetYard is designed to collect as little information as practical. This policy explains what happens when you use the site.
Information you enter into tools
Password generation, random words and numbers, word counting, subnet calculations, JSON formatting, timestamp conversion, Base64 conversion, and URL encoding or decoding run locally in your browser. WidgetYard does not transmit or store the content you enter into those tools.
What’s My IP
The What’s My IP tool asks ipify’s IPv4 and IPv6 endpoints for the public addresses visible from your browser. It also displays network and approximate location metadata that Cloudflare already attaches to your request, such as the network provider, ASN, country, city, and connection protocol. WidgetYard does not add this information to a database or custom log. IP location is approximate and may identify your provider’s network rather than your physical location. ipify’s handling of its requests is governed by its own privacy practices.
Hosting and technical logs
WidgetYard is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events to deliver and protect the site. WidgetYard does not currently operate user accounts or a visitor database.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
WidgetYard uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and activity on this site to select, deliver, personalize, and measure ads, subject to consent choices and applicable law. Data retention
WidgetYard does not retain the content you enter into browser-based tools. Infrastructure providers may retain technical logs as their services require.
Children’s privacy
WidgetYard is a general-audience utility site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version.
